Speech Pathology for Children
Our experienced paediatric speech pathologists provide a broad range of services to children (12 years and under) with speech, language and developmental disorders, including those associated with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
Therapy sessions are conducted in the clinic, in the home, at childcare, kinder or at the child's school (depending on distance)

We can help your child to develop their skills in the following areas:
- The production of speech sounds (articulation) and oral movement.
- Expressive language skills (grammar, vocabulary, forming sentences)
- Receptive language skills (understanding what others are saying, following instructions)
- Phonological awareness (awareness of words, sounds and syllables)
- Reading and spelling skills (literacy) for primary school aged children
- Speaking fluently (stuttering)
- Supporting the development of social communication skills (as part of the broader treatment of an identified speech and/or language disorder).
- Using an alternative method of communication such as symbols, sign and pictures.
